Kenner Accounting Fulfillment Policy and Document Security

Fulfillment Policy for Kenner Accounting

Overview: Kenner Accounting, a Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in California by the California Board of Accountancy. We specialize in tax return preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, and advisory services. We are dedicated to providing high-quality services compliant with SOC 2 encryption standards and ensuring client confidentiality at all times.

Order Processing: The average turnaround time for tax return preparation is approximately two weeks, depending on the complexity of the return and our current workload. During peak times, such as March, this may extend up to three weeks. Clients will be notified of the expected timeline upon order placement.

Delivery of Services: Upon completion and payment of the tax preparation fee, clients will receive a digital copy of their tax return in PDF format via SafeSend Returns. This system not only delivers tax returns but also facilitates easy IRS and state tax payments. Please note that during the IRS e-file blackout period (end of November to end of January), only paper copies of tax returns are delivered, which require wet signatures and are mailed to the IRS and state agencies.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made before tax preparation work begins. Once preparation has started, the tax preparation fee remains due even if the client opts not to file the return.
  • In the event of an error on your tax return that results in a tax notice from the IRS or state agencies, Kenner Accounting will address the issue at no additional cost unless the error stems from incorrect information provided by the client. In such cases, services to correct the error will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, bank transfers, and checks, although electronic payments through Stripe and QuickBooks are preferred.

Legal Compliance: As a licensed CPA in California with the capability to file tax returns in all U.S. states, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of client data. Our third-party software providers are fully compliant with necessary encryption and firewall protections and do not use client data for any purposes other than those explicitly contracted by Kenner Accounting. Please See the section below on Document Security for more information.

Special Conditions: Please be aware of the IRS e-file system’s annual maintenance blackout, during which Kenner Accounting will only be able to paper file tax returns as the e-file system is down during the black out period. Clients are advised to plan accordingly to avoid delays.

  • Data Backup: Daily backups are performed automatically by Microsoft Azure, with data encrypted during the process and backup media physically secured.
